Environmental Planning

We deliver variable range of environmental studies that supplies all necessary ingredients (environmentally sustained) for final decision making on space relevant activities. We work on the principle of amplifying synergies between land modelling and land use allocations.

We supply possible general conceptual approaches for the spatial and transportation development of towns and the immediate catchment areas (region of town) and examine these concepts against their economic, social, ecological and spatial carrying capacities.

Demarcation of ecological resources with allocated priorities for protection and respective control guidelines is of high significance at regional and sub-regional level, whereby we apply GIS technology intensively.

Research Approach and Methods:

  • Development forecasts
  • Scenario technique (development alternatives)
  • PESTE Model (scenario formulation)
  • GIS Model (cell-automata based quantitative assessments)
  • Capital Stock Model (scenario assessment and selection)
  • Sustainability indicators

Application:
Regional, sub-regional & local level
