The Nördlich Lägern (Cantons Zürich, Aargau) is a potential area for the allocation of a deep geological repository (one of the six potential siting regions for geological repository confirmed by the Federal Council ) where from a scientific and technical perspective, safe geological repositories could be constructed.
LEP Consultants AG supports the Regional Conference of Nördlich Lägern in the evaluation and assessment of sites for the surface facilities of a deep geological repository. In close cooperation with the responsible working group of the Regional Conference, an assessment tool is developed that also incorporates regional needs.
